How people and goods move next.
EVs, logistics, autonomy and urban mobility founders rebuilding transportation.
Why Mobility at 2080
Mobility rarely fails on the technology. It fails on the pilot that never converts, the city that will not commit, and the unit economics that only work at a density the founder has not reached. We work the institutional side of that: corporate open-innovation programs with groups such as Hyundai Motor Group's ZER01NE, and market-entry work in Korea, Japan and the Gulf where fleets, cities and OEMs are the buyers.
What we look at
How we work in mobility
- 01Idea
Define the route economics
We look for the concrete movement problem: idle assets, charging access, dispatch cost, route density, safety or compliance. Mobility only works when unit economics meet physical constraints.
- 02Accelerate
Validate with fleet operators
Founders shape pilots around a fleet, route, depot, city corridor or logistics workflow. We push for evidence from operators who will feel the downtime, labor and infrastructure tradeoffs.
- 03Capital
Finance assets and software
Mobility rounds can mix software revenue with hardware or infrastructure spend. We help teams separate those economics and present milestones investors can track across deployment cycles.
- 04Growth
Work through city constraints
Our public-sector program experience helps founders understand permitting, procurement, data sharing and local policy expectations. Expansion is planned city by city, not as a slide of global logos.
- 05Liquidity
Prepare for operator consolidation
Fleet, logistics and infrastructure markets consolidate around operators with distribution. We help founders keep contracts, asset obligations and data rights clear enough for strategic diligence.
